Like a well-balanced blend refined with time, Natural Fruits & Drinks (NFD) has built its place in Singapore’s beverage industry over more than three decades, and the company is known for its consistency and reliability.
As NFD looks to its next phase of growth, a key question emerged: how can a growing business scale its operations while maintaining clarity in how its people work, hire and grow together? NFD recognised that scaling requires more than strong products alone. The company saw an opportunity to strengthen its internal people frameworks to support expansion.
To do so, NFD partnered with student-consultants from the UOB-SMU Asian Enterprise Institute (UOB-SMU AEI) SME Consulting Programme (SCP). Through structured survey methodologies and close collaboration with the company, the team identified key areas for enhancement, including HR documentation, recruitment processes and employee feedback systems.
With practical tools and fresh perspectives in place, NFD is now strengthening the foundations that will support its next chapter of aligning people and processes for the future.
